Founder & CEOEventee
I help organizers run events their attendees don’t complain about.
I’m Roman Mastalir, founder and CEO of Eventee. After ten-plus years in mobile app development I built it to be what most event apps aren’t: clean, fast, and simple enough to set up a full conference app in under two hours. We’re profitable, revenue-funded and engineered in Brno — with most of our customers in the US and the UK.
Before Eventee I co-founded Touch Art, a mobile app studio. I studied business and informatics at the University of Nottingham and Brno University of Technology, and went through the VentureOut accelerator in New York.
Off the clock Tesla lover, Apple sheep, Nintendo fanboy, dream maker, optimist.
Roman Mastalir is the founder and CEO of Eventee, an event app used by teams at Stanford, Oxford, SAP and Siemens. With more than ten years in mobile app development behind him, he built Eventee to be clean, fast and simple enough to set up a full conference app in under two hours. He is based in Brno, Czech Republic, runs the EV Blog YouTube channel and the Event Managers Club community, and is building Tuneread, an iPhone app that reads articles aloud.
